  Welcome to National B.Ed. College  

Situated in Rewa (M.P.), National B.Ed. College was established on August 2005. It is affiliated to the Awadhesh Pratap Singh University and approved by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE). The College is co-educational (for B.Ed. & M.Ed. courses) and at present has a capacity of 100 in B.Ed. and 40 in M.Ed..

National B.Ed College which began as a modest building today possess an efficient infrastructure which includes spacious and well lit classrooms, Science laboratories and a language lab, library, computer room, recreation room, auditorium, and a spacious ground.
The College has a well-stocked library possessing a rich collection of books and journals that cover the B.Ed and M.Ed. syllabus as well as reference books in various subjects.

Education is the fifth basic need of a human being. From the beginning of human existence generation after generation the enlightened one passed on their store of knowledge and wisdom to train the mindset of the citizens. The college is providing quality Teacher Education, which in turn ensures better productivity and thus a better quality life to the associated people.



National Council for Teacher Education which is statutory body of Govt. of India, regulates courses in teaching in India. Bachelor of Education(B.Ed) is a course offered for those interested in pursuing career in teaching. The B.Ed degree is mandatory for teaching in higher primary schools and high schools. The minimum qualification required for entry into B.Ed. course is Bachelor of Arts(B.A.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)or Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). While students from arts stream are trained to teach subjects like history, civics, geography and languages. The students from science stream are trained to teach mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology. After BEd, students can pursue Master in Education (M.Ed.). The minimum qualification required for entry into M.Ed. is B.Ed. degree.
